  • Maintainers may be unable to respond due to being busy. All projects are currently "Unsupported" as we are uncertain about resuming active development.

Things to consider

Before customizing the operating system, there are a few things to consider:

  • Users fully accept any risk to their device.
  • The official warranty may be void due to unlocking the bootloader (UBL).
  • The device must have an unlocked bootloader (UBL) to access Recovery mode.
  • Device data will be completely wiped if the bootloader (UBL) is successfully unlocked, so make sure to back up important data.
  • Users are prohibited from spamming the NusantaraProject team with messages.

Installation

Installation guides differ per device. Please join the Telegram group matching your device type. Here are some general steps:

  1. 1Make sure the bootloader (UBL) on your device is unlocked.
  2. 2Flash the Recovery file in Fastboot mode via a terminal.
  3. 3Flash the downloaded Nusantara file in Recovery mode.
Optional
  • Make sure to download the Vanilla (Non-GApps) variant and a GApps custom package that matches your device's Android version.
  • To unlock further customization, flash the root file in Recovery mode.

FAQ

In general, every Android custom OS provider out there uses a safe primary source, namely AOSP. Device security is strongly affected by the use of further access (root).
AOSP-based Android operating systems are known to be lighter than the stock OS. As for stability, no claims can guarantee it, since the number of supported devices is quite large.
There are only two possibilities: the device has no support for unlocking the bootloader (UBL), or there is no maintainer handling it yet.
Please report the issue in the community Telegram group, in the appropriate sub-topic. Attach photo evidence, a screen recording, or a logcat.
